Monitored Exam Room
For patients requiring closer monitoring, these larger Exam Rooms located immediately in front of the Nurse Station are equipped with break-away glass doors and oxygen gas ports that more than adequately provide for more serious patient care before the patients are moved on to a Hospital or released.

Typical Exam Room
This facility contains 9 Exam Rooms 5 of which take advantage of these high windows. Each of these windows are equipped with blinds not only for patient privacy but also for some ambient light.
Although not required at the initial plan-check with Los Angeles County, we elected to go with the newer California Title 24 Energy Saving Standards and used all LED luminaires throughout the space and all exterior rooms with windows are equipped with daylight dimming sensors as well as the standard occupancy sensors.

X-Ray Room
SRB Design, Inc. coordinated with medical physicists and Adventist Health who selected this style X-Ray equipment, the Sedecal X LP Plus in this instance, which allows the patient to remain on the carbon fiber table and have the X-Ray head rotate around the patient as needed. Structural engineers were retained for the vertical support connection.
